Microbes.info Terms of Use and Disclaimer
Your use and access of the Microbes.info website ("Microbes.info") is governed by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Using or accessing the Site constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and creates a binding agreement governing your access to and use of Microbes.info.

To access information the User may need to register. By registering, the User agrees to (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information as prompted by the appropriate registration form, and (b) maintain and update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. The User acknowledges that the Owners reserve the right to terminate the User's access to Microbes.info in the event that the information provided by the User is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete.
As part of the registration process, the User may be asked to select a username and password. The Owners may refuse to grant a username that impersonates someone else, is or may be illegal, is or may be protected by trademark or other proprietary rights law, is vulgar or otherwise offensive, or may cause confusion, as determined by the Owners in their sole discretion. The User agrees not to allow any other person to use the User's username or password, or to transfer in any manner or resell the use of or access to the Microbes.info or any information thereon to any third party.
Owners do not release any User information. We do not host patient records and do not use cookies or scripts to collect our visitors' personal information. Our web hosting software registers all inbound IP addresses with respective dates and times of access. This information is used to analyze our web traffic and help us further our site development. No other information is collected from our visitors.
A contact us page is provided on our site and is accessible from most of our pages. Visitors can communicate with the webmaster through this page. Inquires are replied to in a reasonable and timely manner. Communications between the site and site visitors may involve the exchange of name, email addresses and other personal information. This information is only used by the webmaster to respond back to the query. Thereafter, the information is removed from our system.
Please note that email is not a secure method for transmission of sensitive personal information. It is not recommended that sensitive personal information be transmitted electronically.
Microbes.info does not solicit suggestions, ideas, notes, concepts, information, or other materials (collectively, "Materials") from Users. By providing Materials to the Owners or posting such Materials to any area of the Microbes.info, the User grants to Owners and their designees a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable (through multiple tiers), assignable, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute (through multiple tiers), create derivative works of, publicly perform, publicly display, digitally perform, make, have made, sell, offer for sale and import such Materials in any media now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the User or any other party. None of the Materials shall be subject to any obligation, whether of confidentiality, attribution, or otherwise, on the part of Owners, and the Owners shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of any Materials. As used in these Terms, "Materials" shall not include personal User information or other data relating to a User, such as User identity.
Microbes.info can be accessed from countries around the world, and may contain references to information or services that are not available in the User's country. The Owners make no representation that Microbes.info or any of the information available through it will be appropriate or available for use at locations outside the United States, and access to Microbes.info from any jurisdiction where its content may be illegal is prohibited. Users accessing Microbes.info from a location outside the United States are solely responsible for compliance with all local laws.
The User agrees not to engage in the operation of any illegal business or use or permit anyone else to use the information, or any part thereof, for any illegal purpose.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement which shall be deemed to have been executed in the United States in the State of Delaware and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with, and the validity and performance hereof shall be governed by, the laws of the State of Delaware, without reference to principles of conflicts of laws thereof. The User consents to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of or for the State of Delaware in connection with any action or proceeding instituted relating to these Terms or any use of Microbes.info.
Microbes.info is entirely non-profit. Funding for this site is provided by the webmaster. The site receives no external funding from any source, including advertising or the dissemination of promotional material. Individuals or organizations that have provided intellectual and technical support are listed in the V.I.P. contributors section.
