MICROBIAL ECOLOGIST.

Applications are invited to fill a tenure track position in the Department of Biological Sciences (www.kent.edu/biology) at the level of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2006. This position will enhance the Department’s emphasis on processes and properties in freshwater ecosystems. Departmental strengths include a strong aquatic ecology program, an on-campus research wetland, superb core research facilities, diverse field sites, and competitive start-up packages. The successful candidate is expected to establish a high-quality, extramurally funded research program and exhibit a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in a related discipline and post-doctoral experience.
