Postdoctoral Fellowship in Microbiology at Villanova University
1-year position, renewable for up to two years
The Department of Biology at Villanova University invites applications
for a postdoctoral fellowship in Microbiology, including Environmental
Microbiology (50% teaching, 50% research), starting August 2005. This
position provides an opportunity to develop credentials in both teaching
and research, critical in many tenure-track positions. Teaching load is
typically one course per semester, and includes microbiology courses for
non-majors and majors and/or graduate students. Specific research area
is open, and several opportunities for collaboration with faculty in the
Department of Biology exist (see Faculty and Staff
<http://www.biology.villanova.edu/faculty_staff.html>). A Ph.D. is
required.
