ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR

Tenure Track, 9 months, Full Time

The successful candidates will conduct research, teach, and mentor professional and graduate students. The candidates are expected to develop and sustain a vigorous, extramurally funded research program (80% effort) that focuses on the fundamental mechanisms of viruses that impact animal/human health, or on animal models of human viral diseases. Instruction (15% effort) will include participation in courses in virology and infectious diseases. The positions include some university service and outreach responsibilities (5% effort) expected of all faculty members.

Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor - PhD or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline

Associate/Full Professor must also have national/international record of extramural funding and publication record in recognized journals in field of virology.

For consideration at the Assistant Professor level, a minimum of two-year postdoctoral training experience is preferred. For the Associate/Full Professor position teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
